ramadhan al mubarak

went to the tilawah thing just now as part of the ramadhan youth challenge and now i've got a challenge to overcome:

i'm gonna be interviewed by Detik and i can't talk fluent Malay




somebody, help me. please.


the ustadz is supposed to call me to tell me what i was going to be questioned so i can get myself prepared and not humilate myself. (with this note, mum told me to talk proper Bahasa Melayu Baku at home over the weekend so that i won't sound as superficial as i usually would if i talk Malay. and to uh, further prepare myself. whatever.) geez. i wasn't paying attention to the preaching just now. i was busy listening to my sister bitching about her problems and counting the days left to o levels(15) and dividing the hours, creating my own block revision time table. blardeedaa. i'm going to be dead.


on a lighter note, i shall be escorted to tuition on monday, after the interview. and i have a valid reason to tell joe why i'm late. heh. heh. heh.


i know i'm supposed to be on hiatus. but hey, read the previous entry? a girl has to get disturbing things out of her mind to concentrate on her studies. so blahdeedaah.


oh yeah, did i mention that i can't believe that i haven't been to bazaar geylang since i was 5/6? tt's at least 10 years since i went to a bazaar at geylang during fasting month. ahaha. geylang sucks. no. i just hate the crowded and humid and malay atmosphere. especially when i'm fasting.


science pracs are going to be on monday and my calculator had just died on me. hoorah hoorah.
