bleah.

"i moved on," you said. from then on, i regretted that very first step i took made us further apart. you've chosen her, although you know you don't love her the way she loves you. you've chosen her, although you love me they way she loves you. you've chosen her, although i finally came to realise i love you. i went to visit you one last time, with that foolish hope that you'll change your mind. but she deserves you more than i do. she cares for you and you feel that you owe it to her. you told me not to cry. i won't cry, i promise. i promise i'll be alright. i want you to be happy. i want you to be so, so happy. i really do. you are my best friend. i want you to be happy. and as i turned away and closed the door behind me, i heard you saying,"i will always love you". i longed for one last kiss, but i moved on, like you did, tears falling from my eyes.
